Anna Thompson Ammerman passed away August 11 at her home in Goldfield. Mrs. Ammerman was born Nov 8, 1878, at Cleveland, Ohio. She spent most of her girlhood in the vicinity of Latimer and Coulter. She came to Goldfield with her husband, George Ammerman in February, 1929, from Dows. She was united in marriage to George Ammerman at Alexander, Jan. 18, 1899. To this union, were born four sons and six daughters. Two daughters preceded her in death, one in infancy, and Mrs. Margaret Johnson, who passed away, April 15, 1940. Surviving, are her husband, and her daughters and sons, Mrs. Elizabeth Hedlund, Laporte, Minn., Mrs. Henrietta Wilson, Lakeville, Minn., Leo Ammerman, Galt, George Ammerman, Anaconda, Mont., Mrs. Edna Rasmussen, St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Minnie Martin, Rowan, Albert Ammerman, Webster City, Charles Ammerman, Breckenridge, Minn.; 31 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Tom Thompson of Denver, Colo., Art Thompson, Hampton, and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Bonsack, Hampton. The last rites were held in Clarion, at the Eyler funeral home Friday, with Rev. Harold A. Sanders of the Rowan Congregational church in charge. Burial was in the cemetery at Alexander. Pallbearers were Fred and Sander Schnell, Ed. Wold, Robert Sherman, and Bervein Johnson of Goldfield and Herman Olson of Rowan.
