Mrs. Thos. Russell Succumbs Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Russell, 82, were held Friday at 9:30 a. m. at St. John's Catholic church. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Eyler funeral home and burial was in St. John's cemetery. Pall bearers were Bernard Russell of Latimer, Kenneth Holmes of Eagle Grove, Donald Holmes of Mason City. Leo Russell and Jim Russell of Clarion and Myron Smith of Dows. They were grandsons of Mrs. Russell.

Mrs. Russell died following a stroke Wednesday afternoon at her home. She had been ill for a long time. Surviving are three sons, Henry Russell, Frank Russell and Ralph Russell, all of Clarion; two daughters, Miss Bessie Russell of Clarion and Mrs. Guy Holmes of Nashua, 20 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
