LIVERMORE-- Lucille Olson, 94, of Livermore, passed away April 5, 2007 at the Humboldt Care Center North. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Livermore with the Rev. J.K. Raether officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Livermore. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt and again from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Olson is survived by her daughters, Ruth (Tom) Towers of Virginia Beach, VA, and Pat (Louie) Householder of Algona; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Miller and Melba Olson both of Galt, IA, Mildred Welch of Placentia, CA, Joraine Henley of Algona, and Aleda Nissen of Humboldt; brother, Curt Olson of Cascade; and daughter-in-law, Carol Olson of Colorado Springs, CO; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Carol Sittig; son, Alvin Olson; infant daughter Joan; brothers, Ronnie Olson and James "Scratch" Olson; and sister, Charlotte Templeton.

Lucille Olson, the daughter of Henry M. and Cora (Opheim) Olson, was born January 17, 1913 at Ottosen, Iowa. She attended school and graduated from Bode High School in 1930. Following her education, Lucille worked for the United States Postal Service. She was united in marriage to Carl Olson on January 3, 1934 at Blue Earth, Minnesota and the couple made their home at Rutland and Livermore. Lucille was employed in the Humboldt County Assessors office and worked as a wallpaperer and in later years, she enjoyed babysitting. Mr. Olson passed away in 1985 and Lucille continued to maintain her home at Livermore until becoming a resident of the Humboldt Care Center North. Lucille was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in L.W.M.L. and enjoyed card playing.
