Edward E. Hilpipre, 101, of Clarion, died Thursday (May 15, 1997) at the Clarion Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Willim Funeral Home, with Gerald D. Caquelin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with military rites by the Clarion American Legion. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home. Edward E. Hilpipre was born March 4, 1896, in Williams. Survivors include his wife, Minnie of Clarion; and two sisters, Teresa Foster of Phoenix, Ariz., and Neva Bruhl of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
