Vincent E. Roelofsen, 71, of Meservey, died Tuesday (Sept. 24, 1996) at the Belmond Community Hospital in Belmond. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tenold Funeral Chapel, Belmond, with the Rev. Rodney Meester of the First Reformed Church of Meservey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Union Cemetery, Harris. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond.

Vincent was born Sept. 14, 1925, at Lake Park. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Meservey; a son, Douglas Lee Roelofsen of Belmond; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bellcourt of Magalia, Calif.; stepdaughters, Ann Harty of Belmond and Nancy Miller of Britt; 10 grandchildren; and brothers, Neal Roelofsen and Garret Roelofsen, both of Lake Park. He was preceded in death by his first wife, one son and one brother.
