EAGLE GROVE, IA - Doris I. Godfrey, 86, of Eagle Grove, died Tuesday (Feb. 2, 1999) at the Rotary Ann Home, Eagle Grove. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William E. Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Visitation with the family present will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, Eagle Grove.

Doris Irene Godfrey was born on Oct. 24, 1912, in Eagle Grove. Survivors include four daughters, Connie Jorgensen, of Eagle Grove, Bonnie Sunner, of Clear Lake; Cynthia Metcalf, of Boone, and Mary Hogenson, of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Madeline Fromm, of Eagle Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and one grandson. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
