LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Bobbi Jo Tulare, 37, of 2520 Lakeshore Drive, La Crosse, died Sunday (Aug. 6, 1995) at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will in the French Island Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Dickinson Family Funeral Homes, Gillette Street Chapel, 809 Gillette Street, and from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Lutheran World Relief or the American Heart Association.

She was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Belmond, Iowa, to Marvin Suntken and Ellen Suntken (nee) Swenson. She was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond, and graduated from Belmond High School in May 1975. She then attended the North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa, for one year and worked for ACCO in Belmond. She married Walter Tulare on April 19, 1980, in Forest City, Iowa. She was employed as a secretary for District Lodge #66 of the Machinist Union in La Crosse.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; a son, Tim; her mother, Ellen Suntken of Belmond, Iowa; a brother, Larry Suntken and wife, Marilyn of Belmond, Iowa; two sisters, Vicki Box and husband Glenn of Rowan, Iowa, and Suzanne Mourlam and husband Don, of Belmond, Iowa; nephews, Chris Box, Scott Suntken, Bobby Mourlam and Dan Mourlam; and a niece, Jennifer Mourlam. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Suntken in 1983.
