Clarion -- Fred Chapman, 70, died Thursday (Feb. 13, 1997) at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne Droessler officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery. Fred G. Chapman was born March 4, 1922, in Woolstock Township, Wright County. He is survived by his wife, Doris of Clarion; a daughter, Paula of Belton, Texas; and two sisters, Viola Denger of Oxnard, Calif., and Barbra Knutson of Granton, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a twin sister.
