Chester Gunderson, a former Bode resident, passed away Sunday in a Belmond Hospital following a serious heart attack Saturday. Funeral services will be Tuesday in Belmond. Survivors include his wife, the former Sena Dasen, a daughter, Mrs. Richard Eckhoff, Belmond, and a son, Dean Gunderson, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Josie Sween and Clarence Gunderson, Bode, Gilbert Gunderson, Terrill, Mrs. Blanche Christianson, Iowa Falls, Harlan Gunderson, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Arlene Keating of El Cerrito, Calif. His parents, three sisters and a brother preceded him in death. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. A number of relatives and friends from Bode attended the services in Belmond.
