CLARION -- Iona M. Flurer, 89, of Clarion, died Monday (Aug. 4, 1997) at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Clarion Church of Christ, with Mark Young officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Iona M. Flurer was born July 4, 1908, in Washington, D.C. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Stevens, Clarion, and Sally Courtney, Cedar Rapids; one son, Donald of Ukiah, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leo Woodley, Clarion. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
