Eagle Grove - Elmer W. Hutchinson, 82, died Thursday morning at Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.

Surviving are his wife, Maudie; a son, Gordon, Otho; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. Carl (Alice) Chalstrom, Fort Dodge; and Mrs. Clarence (Zella) Bergeson, Whittemore.

Elmer Hutchinson was born November 3, 1902 in Jasper County and lived at Wesley, Nora Springs and Lime Springs. He married Maudie Johnson in 1928 in Webster City. They lived on a farm near Alden and Geneva before moving to Eagle Grove 26 years ago. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the United Methodist Church.
