Kent A. Groves, Sr.
August 2, 1940, Eagle Grove, Wright, Iowa -- April 4, 1993, Iowa City, Johnson, Iowa

Son of Harry & Gladys (Penno) Groves. Served 4 years in U.S. Navy, returning to farm with father in Eagle Grove area. Retired due to ill health. He is survived by son, Kent Jr. of Bragg, N.C.; daughters, Kelley Groves, Britt and Laurie Groves, Des Moines; brother, Gary, Webster City. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
