GLORY FEELEY

Glory passed away on Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, at the age of 72 years. Preceding her in death are her father, Lloyd "Barney" E. Terwilliger, husband Leo J. Feeley in 1984 and sister, Maida Pedersen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove with Father David Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove.

Glory Lou Terwilliger Feeley, the daughter of Lloyd E. and Dorathy (Gochenour) Terwilliger, was born November 6, 1931, in Humboldt, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Humboldt, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1949. She then received an art scholarship and attended the University of Iowa. On February 3, 1951, Glory was united in marriage with Leo James Feeley at Humboldt. They made their home in Eagle Grove until 1967, when they moved to Des Moines. Glory worked as a floral designer for Seasonal Concepts (Flower City) for over 20 years. She had a special gift for designing and her work was displayed many times in the Des Moines area and at the "Festival of Trees". Glory was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove and Saint Theresa's Parish in Des Moines. She was involved with many different music clubs and was a very talented artist. Glory also enjoyed spending time outdoors and appreciated nature.

Feeley in 1984; and sister, Maida Pedersen. Survivors include her mother, Dorathy Terwilliger Boom of Fort Dodge; four children, Michael Feeley and wife Linda of St. Louis, MO, Nicholas Feeley of Fort Dodge, Michelle "Shelly" Ristau and husband Rick of Lafayette, IN and Diana DeBor and husband Steve of Madrid; seven grandchildren, Tim Feeley, Marie DeBor, Ryan Ristau, Paul Feeley, Randy Ristau, Leigh DeBor and Casey Ristau; a sister, Virginia Peterson and husband Mervin of Phoenix, AZ; and brother-in-law, Richard Pedersen of Humboldt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove with Father David Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove.
