Aug. 11, 1920 - May 3, 2007

Dallas L. Campbell, age 86, Waite Park, MN, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Sterling Park Health Care Center, Waite Park, MN. Funeral services will be Monday, May 7, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Granite City Baptist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Dennis Campbell will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, MN.

Dallas Campbell was born August 11, 1920 in Belmount, IA, to L. C. and Fern (Doctor) Campbell. He married Ida G. Leland on August 12, 1941 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Dallas was employed as a feed salesman and animal nutrionist by Kark's Appetizer Feed of Blue Earth and Vernon Center for 25 years, and M & M Feeds in Eagle Grove, IA for 25 years. During his time at M & M Feeds Dallas also managed their research farm. He was a member of Granite City Baptist Church and Gideon's International. In each town that he lived, Dallas was active in the local Baptist church, serving in various positions, such as treasurer, deacon, Sunday School teacher and building committee member.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Campbell of Waite Park, MN; daughter, Gloria Grant of Hershey, PA.; sons, Rev. Dennis (Mary) Campbell of St. Cloud, MN; Gregory (Ruth) Campbell of Laguna Hills, CA; Bruce (Mary) Campbell of Worthington, MN; sister, June O'Neil of Watertown, WI; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Roger Grant, and two brothers, Eldon and Dean Campbell. Pallbearers will be Devon Grant, Todd, Troy, Trent, Jonathan, and Jeffrey Campbell. Honorary pallbearer will be Joshua Campbell.
