Funeral services for Debra Rae (Donner) Hansen, 48, of Belmond, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the River of God Church in Big Falls, Minn., with the Rev. Tim Treat officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Big Falls, Minn. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on today at the Tenold Funeral Home in Belmond, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church in Big Falls.

Debra Rae (Donner) Hansen, the daughter of Homer "Bud" and Irene (Treat) Donner, was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Littlefork, Minn. She was raised in Big Falls, Minn. and graduated from Big Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Larry Hansen on Aug. 29, 1995, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They have made their home in Belmond, where she worked at the Pamida Store, We-3 Grocery, and Silver Screen. Debra lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday (June 24, 2001) at her home in Belmond.

Those thankful for sharing her life are her husband, Larry, of Belmond; stepchildren, Lon Hansen and his wife, Sara, of Soudertown, Pa., Kim Ausborn and her husband, Ron, of Belmond, and Deb Sorensen and her husband, Chris, of Urbandale; stepgrandchildren, Amanda, Eric, Nicole, Anthony, and Rachel; a sister, Vicki Donner, of Big Falls, Minn.; brother, Bill Donner and his wife, Cindy, of Silver Bay, Minn.; grandmother, Clara Donner, of Duluth, Minn.; three nieces, two nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene (Treat) Donner; father, Homer "Bud" Donner; maternal grandparents, Ella and Roe Treat; paternal grandparents, Homer Donner and Rose Emka.
