Mrs. Floyd Anderson, 63, died at her home Saturday. Rosary services were held Monday at 4pm by the CDA and an evening Rosary was held at 8pm at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church, Father E.W. Lechtenberg officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Floyd; a son, Thomas Anderson; and a daughter, Marilyn Anderson both of Eagle Grove; one brother, Thomas J. McKenna of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and a stepmother, Mary McKenna of Long Beach, CA; also two grandchildren, Patty and Tommy Anderson.

Catherine Mary Martin was born Feb. 14, 1911 at Chicago, Ill., the daughter of William and Mary Martin. At an early age both parents died and Catherine and a brother Tom were adopted by Mr. and Mrs. J.F. (Jack) McKenna of Livermore. Catherine resided and attended school in the Livermore area. She was united in marriage at Sacred Heart Church, Eagle Grove, to Floyd Anderson of Renwick in 1937. The family moved to Eagle Grove in 1940. Catherine died at her home in Eagle Grove after an eight month illness on March 31 at the age of 62 years, 1 month, and 17 days. Catherine was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Catholic Daughters of America.
