Michelle E. Lemieux ...was junior at Pelham High School; 16
PELHAM -- Michelle E. Lemieux, a student at Pelham High School, died Saturday, March 10, from injuries in a motor vehicle accident that night in Pelham. She was 16. She was born in Lowell on March 17, 1990, daughter of Donald P. and Lori L. (Harris) Lemieux. She attended the Sherburne and Memorial grammar schools in Pelham and was currently a junior at Pelham High School. She was an active member of the junior class, and worked as an office administrative aide. Michelle was a well-known and popular member of the junior class at Pelham High, according to family members and friends. In article in Monday's Sun reporting on the accident on Mammoth Road, Pelham School Board Chairman Mike Conrad described Michelle as a well-liked student who was "always willing to lend a smile and a helping hand." Among her many interests, she enjoyed art, fashion and most importantly, the company of her friends. She also took great pleasure in helping her father and his business, Don's Catering, every day after school.
Besides her parents, Michelle is survived by a sister, Nicole M. Lemieux, a sophomore at Western New England College in Springfield; her maternal grandmother, Emily (Mattingly) Harris of Clarion, Iowa; her paternal grandmother, Carole (Chambers) (Lemieux) Gurney of Littleton; three aunts, Vicki Jackson and her husband Daniel of Clear Lake, Iowa, Christi Broshar and her husband William of Kanawha, Iowa, and Deborah Healey and her husband Peter of Pawtucket, R.I.; two uncles, Gary Harris of Belmond, Iowa, and David Lemieux and his wife Darlene of Dracut. She also leaves many cousins and dear friends.
