Mrs. Peter Thomsen of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away (May 27, 1963) in a Madison hospital at the age of 61. She was born August 22, 1901 at Dows, IA and has lived in Madison since 1937. She was vice president of Schoep's Ice Cream Company of Madison and her husband was president. Survivors include her husband, Peter; 4 daughters, Mrs. Theodore Snyder, Cottage Grove, Mrs. Larry Gates, Madison, Mrs. Donald Hansen, Napa, CA, Mrs. Harold Koenig, Wheatland, IA; 4 sons, Lester, Walter, Donald & Paul, all of Madison, 2 sisters, Mrs. Ralph Holt, Spooner, Mrs. Thomas, Earl; 3 brothers, Walter Butenhoff, Earl, Gustave Butenhoff, Minneapolis & Arthur Butenhoff, Trego. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
