IOWA FALLS—Patricia Joan Morgan, 74, of Iowa Falls, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Scenic Manor Care Facility, Iowa Falls. Per Patricia’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o her daughter: Darla Schrage, 4207 Veralta Drive, Cedar Falls, IA 50613.

Patricia was born May 23, 1930, in Dows, the daughter of Keith Floyd and Adelia Matilda (Korth) Thorp. She attended the Iowa Falls Community Schools, graduating with the class of 1947. She then attended the Thompson Beauty School in Des Moines. On July 8, 1948, she was united in marriage to James D. Morgan at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. They were later divorced. Patricia was a cosmetologist for many years, working in Brainerd, Minn., and Alden, and was last employed by Sartori Hospital, Cedar Falls, retiring in 1983. She was also the state secretary for Iowa Cosmetologists and had held various affiliate offices. She was a member of the Methodist faith.

Patricia is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Segebarth and husband Robert of Waterloo, Darla Schrage and husband Richard of Cedar Falls, and Marcie Vickerman and husband Brad of Carlos, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mickey Pryor; and one brother, Jerry T. Thorp. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
