Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., in the Garden of Reflection, at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary for Scott Wayne Lanferman, age 45, of Bakersfield, CA, formerly of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Scott was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Wayne Lanferman; grandparents, Anna and Earl Lanferman; and aunt
and uncle, Alfred and Gladys Shurson. Scott is survived by his sister, Karen Potts of Yukon, OK; niece, Shelley Bosier of Frisco, TX; nephew, Chris Potts of Yukon, OK; great-niece, Parker Bosier of Frisco, TX; grandmother, Gladys Summers of Belmond; aunts and uncles, Bob and Bernadine Cooke of Belmond, Robert and Carolyn Summers of Belmond, Norman and Elaine Lester of Goldfield, and Bill Summers of Wichita Falls, TX; and many cousins and longtime friends. Scott was a very compassionate and caring person. He will be missed by his family and friends.
