Ruth L. Hanson (formerly of Eagle Grove, Iowa), 89, passed from this life Jan. 9, 2007, in Morrison, Colo. She was born Ruth Lucille Rink, April 9, 1917. Ruth married Otto Willard Hanson on Feb. 11, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, daughter, Marjorie Lynn, granddaughter, Pamela Hanson, and daughter-in-law, Beverly Hanson. Steve Hanson of St. Joseph, Mo., Bill and Sandra Hanson of Waukee, Iowa, Barbara and Steve Straatmann of Morrison, Colo.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; survive Ruth. Services will be held at Waukee United Methodist Church on Friday, May 11 at 11 a.m.
