Terrance M. “T-Roll” Russell, 56, of Holmen passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at his home after a long illness. He was born March 23, 1950, in Dubuque, Iowa, and was adopted and raised by Henry and Mildred Russell of Clarion, Iowa. Terry graduated from Clarion High School and later joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968 during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he worked construction for Younglove Construction Co., as well as other various construction companies for several years. On Feb. 26, 1977, he married Janice Urbain in Mankato, Minn. Terry always loved making people laugh and sharing his stories of his many adventures during his lifetime. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Jan, he is survived by a son, Jesse Russell of Holmen; two daughters, Corina Russell of Holmen and Kristin Russell of Milwaukee; a granddaughter, Hannah Russell of Holmen; along with a family friend, Aron Taylor. He is further survived by 10 half-brothers and sisters from Iowa, Colorado, New Mexico and California. He was preceded in death by his parents; his birth father; and three brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held Jan. 13 at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse, with a celebration of Terry’s life after the services at Dewey’s on St. Paul Street in La Crosse.
