CLARION -- Ethel C. Huckins, 92, Clarion, formerly of Elk Horn, died Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion. Huckins is survived by sons George of Kansas City, Mo., Lynn of Crandall, Texas and Kent of Seagoville, Texas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ethel C. Huckins. 92. of Eagle Grove, died on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion. She is survived by her three sons George Huckins of Kansas City, MO.; Lynn Huckins of Crandall, TX and Kent Huckins of Seagoville, TX. 6 grandchildren Christy, Scott. Troy, Heather, Jon and Matt and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover, daughter Sharon Janson. 3 sisters, Marie, Alice, and Anna and 2 brothers, Harry and Carl.

Ethel C. Huckins, the daughter of Jens J. and Kirstine M. Hansen, was born May 27, 1914, in Elk Horn, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. She attended Beauty college
and operated a Beauty Shop in her home for many years. Ethel was married to George Dobbs from 1940 until 1945. Ethel married Grover F. Huckins in 1947. Grover died in 2004. The Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
