Martin L. Schutt, 73, of Hampton, died Wednesday (Dec. 6, 1995) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center West, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Elizabeth A. Yates and the Rev. Ed Clevenger officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home.

Martin L. Schutt was born Oct. 31, 1922, in Woolstock. Survivors include his wife, Janice Schutt of Hampton; three sons, Jerry Schutt and Paul Schutt of Des Moines, and Nathan Dannen of Hampton; one daughter, Martha Schutt of Hampton; two stepdaughters, Mary Robinson of Hampton and Edna Rigby of Spencer; three stepsons, Dan Dannen of Chapin, Dana Dannen and Darrell Dannen, both of Hampton; one sister, Hazel Brock of Woolstock; four brothers, Ilo Schutt of Woolstock, Charles Schutt of Des Moines, Desyln Schutt of Clear Lake, and Eldred Schutt of Clarion; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
