Kenneth Kallem, 84, of the Iowa Veterans Home, died late Thursday night, March 30, 2006. Funeral services are pending at Fouts Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for local arrangements. Kenneth was born on June 13th, 1921, in Montana, and served our country honorably in WWII. He was of Lutheran faith and moved to the IVH in December of 1998. Surviving are his son Buddy Kallem of Forrest Lake, Minn.; and a daughter Rita Helmke of Eagle Grove. In death he has rejoined his parents and his wife.
