Terry Gail Rice, 54, of Pocahontas, passed away February 1, 2007 at his home in Pocahontas. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Richard Lauger officiating. Interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt with full military rites. Visitation with the family will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Terry is survived by his daughters, Heather Rice and Tara Erickson of Farmington, New Mexico; sons, Trevor, Cody, and Derek Rice of Pocahontas; his mother, Dorothy Erickson and her husband, Ted, of Humboldt; grandchildren, Tori Anderson and Gage Erickson of Farmington, New Mexico; sister, Jacqueline (Jim) Fevold of Humboldt; brother, Larry (Sally) Rice of Eagle Grove; 6 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Terry Gail Rice the son of Gail and Dorothy Sroufe Rice, was born November 16, 1952 at DeKalb, Illinois. He moved with his family to Humboldt in 1955 and attended school at Humboldt. Following his graduation from Humboldt High School in 1971, Terry enlisted into the United States Army and was stationed at Korea. He married Linda Cerney and they had two children, Heather and Tara. They were later divorced and he married Jutta Taliga. That marriage was later dissolved and he married Becky Johnson, they have 3 sons, Trevor, Cody, and Derek. Terry spent a year in Iraq with the Army Reserves. He recently returned and made his home at Pocahontas.
