Henry Delger, 93, of Clarion, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007 at Wright Medical Center in Clarion. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 31st at First Lutheran Church, Clarion. Pastor Gary Boen officiated the 2 p.m. service. Burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.

Henry Delger was born July 17, 1913, the son of Gertie Delger Weston. On February 25, 1933, he was united in marriage to Bessie (Betty) Anderson of Clarion. Following their marriage the couple farmed in the Kanawha and Clarion area. To this union two children were born. Henry and Betty would have celebrated their 74th year anniversary in February 2007. One of Henry's real joys was having his ponies, hitching them up and going for a drive. Henry retired from farming in 1983 and moved into Clarion where he still lived until December of 2006 when he entered the USA Health Care Center in Clarion. Henry was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Clarion.

He is survived by his wife, Betty of Clarion; one son, Robert and wife, Beverly of Clarion; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
