June K. MacKenzie, 96, of Palm Harbor, Florida died Saturday (Jan. 6, 2007) at Manor Care Palm Harbor. She was born in Nevada, Iowa, and came here in 1960 from Clarion, Iowa. She was a retired registered nurse and an Army veteran of World War II. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Chicago and Iowa State University. She was Protestant and a member of the PEO Sisterhood. She enjoyed cooking. Survivors include a sister, Mary Kimler, Tarpon Springs; three nieces; a nephew; and many grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
