Dorothy Marie Ashpole, 91, of Clarion, died on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at the USA Health Care Center in Clarion. Services were held on Monday, June 21, at the St. John's Catholic Church in Clarion. Fr. David Beckman officiated at the 10:00 a.m. service. There was a private family committal immediately following the service. Dorothy is survived by her husband, J. R. Ashpole; two sons, J. R. Jr. and wife, Mary of Houston, Texas and Kenley and wife, Gina of Leesburg, Indiana; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent directly to the charity of choice and the family requested no flowers.
