Ruth Lucile Richardson, 96, of Tama died of pneumonia Sunday at home. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Richardson was born in Goldfield and had lived there many years. She also had lived in Kingman, Ariz., 20 years and Fort Dodge four years. She had lived in Tama two years. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of United Methodist Church in Goldfield. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting and traveling.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth of Anchorage, Alaska, Deane of Columbus, Ohio, and Edward of Fort Dodge a daughter, Mary McBee of Tama a sister, Margaret Whyte of Olympia, Wash. six grandchildren four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raynard. Neptune Society of Iowa in Ankeny handled arrangements.
