Margaret Nadeen Gardner, age 71, of Clarion, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 8, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in Clarion, Iowa, with Pastor Curt Miner officiating. Burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion, Iowa. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in Clarion and continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Margaret Nadeen Gardner, daughter of Harold J. and Gertrude E. (McNamee) Barden, was born on May 2, 1935 in Iowa City. She graduated from Lost Nation High School in 1953. On September 4, 1955 she was united in marriage to Donald Gardner in Clarion. She had many hobbies and was known around the state for her photography at racetracks. Margaret is survived by her children, Jay Dean Gardner and his wife Gloria J of Geneva, Iowa, Bryan Gardner and his wife Barb of Clarion, Iowa, Julie Butler and her husband Virgil of Clarion, Iowa, James Fay Gardner of Ogden, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and Donald.
