Mabel Crovisier, 87, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Funeral services will be on Tues., Nov. 14, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Badger Lutheran Church with Rev. Darryl Landsverk officiating. Visitation will be held at Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. today. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Survivors include daughters Karen (Ed) Nygaard of Spencer, IA; Marianne (Tom) Koch of Marshalltown, IA; son Richard (Pat) Crovisier of Lenexa, KS and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Emma Mae Dunkel, granddaughter Rebecca Nygaard; and her husband Milford.

Mabel Frances Dunkel was born Dec. 29, 1918 at Eagle Grove, the daughter of Neal and Elizabeth (Yenck) Dunkel. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School. She worked for Gov. Blue’s Law office until she married Milford Crovisier on Feb. 19, 1939. Together with her husband they owned and operated a farm near Badger. She loved needlecrafts and her church and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
