Irma Eileen (Krebill) Griffiths, 87, of Belmond, formerly of Indianola, died on Thursday, January 1, 2004, at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 6, at the United Methodist Church in Belmond, with Pastor Paddy Druhl officiating. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in Indianola. Irma was born on August 15, 1916 in Donnellson, the daughter of Harry J. and Edna L. Krebill. After graduating from the Donnellson High School she attended Parsons College in Fairfield and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. On June 10, 1939, she married Clement W. Griffiths. Irma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son-in-law, Don Cleveland. Irma is survived by her daughter, Dona Cleveland of Belmond; son, Denis (Linda) Griffiths of Braselton, Georgia; and five grandchildren.
