Marjorie E. Gabrielson, 81, of Belmond, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at her residence in Belmond. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 7, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rod Hopp officiating. Interment was in the Belmond Cemetery. Organist was Eldoris Bunnell and soloist was Marilyn Janssen. Casket bearers were Tom Amsbaugh, Bryan Kuester, Ryan Lobdell, Scott Davies, Larry Kinseth and Fred Burnham. Honorary casket bearers were her great-grandchildren.

Marjorie Evelyn was born on July 1, 1923 at Iowa Falls, the daughter of Richard and Hallie (Thomas) Parker. She was baptized on June 29, 1931. She attended the Belmond Public Schools and the La James School of Cosmetology in Mason City. On December 3, 1939, she married Harold Wolf in Clarion. Later they moved to Des Moines, returning to Belmond in 1943. Marjorie enjoyed being a campfire leader, and she was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked in merchandising and also at Farm and Home Publishers. Her most cherished time was spent with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harold; her parents; and brother, Bernard and wife, Helen Parker. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki (Carroll) Morris of Avondale, Arizona and Debra (Charles) Hanson of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Rick (Angie) Kinseth, Laurie (Tom Amsbaugh) Steenblock, Kim (Bryan) Kuester, Michelle (Jeremy) Rojas, Michael Morris, Denise Hanson, David Hanson, Danny (Shelly) Hanson, Darrin (Shelli) Hanson and Lisa (Justin) Clark; step-grandchildren, LuAnn Brown, Kay Zahn and Rusty Morris; twenty-six great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy (Russell) Dow and Patricia Edgerton; brother, Richard (Patricia) of Franklin, Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Margaret Clagget of Clarion.
