Arielle Zaelyn Brown, six-weeks, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at her home in Rowan. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 7, at the Andrews Funeral Home in Belmond, with Rev. Janet Wearda officiating. Casket bearers were Quentin and Wyatt Newton.

Arielle, the infant daughter of ZoAnn Brown, was born on Saturday, January 15, 2005, at the Mercy Hospital in Mason City. During her brief life she blessed her family with many special memories. Her beautiful smile and playful personality will be etched in their hearts forever, and they will miss the opportunity to share their love and dreams with her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents. Survivors include her mother; sister, Zelexis of Rowan; siblings, Wyatt, Quentin and Savannah Newton of Illinois; aunt, Jill Robson and her daughter, Reica of Rowan; uncle, Bruce Robson of Mesa, Arizona; and aunts, Linda McDaniels and Becky Vedder of Illinois.
