Mary (Kinseth) Legate, 79, died on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Largo, Florida. Memorial services will be at a later date. Mary was born on June 1, 1925, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Belmond when her mother, Olinda Richards, married Ray Kinseth in 1934. She worked as a secretary at the Kearney, Nebraska, Court House, before retiring to Largo. Survivors are two daughters, one son, five grandchildren, one step-sister, Luann (Kinseth) Hohbein of Beatrice, Nebraska and one step-sister-in-law, Virginia Kinseth of Belmond.

Mary J. Legate, 79, of Largo, died Saturday (Jan. 8, 2005) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Belmond, Iowa, and came here in 1987 from Kearney, Neb., where she retired as a legal secretary for Buffalo County. She was a member of Anona United Methodist Church and Alpha Phi, both in Largo. Survivors include her companion, Robert Thompson; a son, Theodore E. II, Kearney; two daughters, Patricia Stejskal, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Penny Legate-Williams, Seattle; and four grandchildren.
