Lucille G. Cramer, 88, a life long resident of Belmond, died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the Belmond Health Care Center. Services were held May 4 at Andrews Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Druhl of the Belmond United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Belmond Cemetery. Lucille Glenavon was born January 28, 1918 in Belmond, the daughter of Charles and Pauline (Christopherson) Cramer. She was baptized at the Methodist Church and graduated from Belmond High School in 1937. Lucille began working at First State Bank in November 1951 and retired in November 1980. Shortly after that she moved to the Belmond Community Apartments, and then the care center in December 2003. Lucille was a devoted and faithful servant to her family, friends and customers. She cared for her mother, her sister Freda, and helped her brother Soupy care for his wife, Marion. She was quiet, kind and considerate of others. She enjoyed visiting and eating out with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Wallace (Soupy); and sisters Mabel, Annie, Freda, Nellia and Pearl. Survivors include six nieces and two nephews.
