Karl Smith, Coronado, CA, died March 23, 2006.

Karl was born May 2, 1914 in North Dakota, the son of Phillip and Lillian Smith. He moved to Belmond where he worked at the Coast to Coast store. He married Mary Cullinan in 1937 at her parent's home. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later rejoined that service as his career. He was preceded in death by his son Kurt in 2002. He is survived by his wife.
