Nadine Eileen (Doherty) Sinkovic, 81, of Placerville, California, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, November 15, 2006. There were no services held and burial was in the Westwood Hill Memorial Park, where she was buried beside her husband. Nadine Eileen Doherty, was born on June 3. 1925, in Clarion. She moved to California in 1945. Nadine worked for the RCA Service Company in the sales department for 25 years. retiring in 1989. She and her husband moved to Pleasant Valley, California and built the home of their dreams on 20 acres. In 2000, her husband passed away and she moved to Placerville, California. Nadine was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1950 and belonged to the U.S. Humane Society for years and loved her cats. She loved gardening, polkas, all music, dancing, camping, and feeding the blue jays, squirrels and other birds. Her children and grandchildren were her world.

Nadine is survived by two sons, Dennis Bergquist and wife, Sally of Grand Junction, Colorado and John Sinkovic, Jr. and wife, Shirley of Santa Clara, California; three daughters, Marcia Pierce and husband, Vern of Monrovia California, Lynn Matson of Placerville, California and Linda Sinkovic Thompson and husband, Peter of San Diego, California; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one nephew.
