Betty June Terry, 78, of Clarion, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2006, at the USA Healthcare, Clarion. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 14, at the Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Bob Coates officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.

Betty June Dishman, was born on June 15, 1928 at St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Claude and Ethel (Mann) Dishman. She attended school in Clarion. On August 9, 1950, Betty was united in marriage with John F. Terry at Belmond. The couple lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Webster City, before moving to Eagle Grove in 1956. Betty loved to tell jokes, listen to music and garden.

Betty is survived by her children, Jonnie Terry of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Jim Terry and wife, Connie of Clarion, Linda Askvig and husband, Jerry of Goldfield, Mike Terry and wife, Irma of Belmond and Craig Terry of Eagle Grove; daughter-in-law, Karen Terry of Goldfield; one sister, Berniece Coates of Lake Mills, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John on February 8, 2002; one son, Dennis (Beaver) Terry in 1973; two brothers, Bob Dishman and Claude Dishman, Jr.; and three sisters, Florence Latch, Evelyn Wiley and Mildred Lamar.
