Richard Alan Rink, 67, of Clarion, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2006, at his home. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. The Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Richard A. Rink, was born on February 22, 1939 in Eagle Grove, the son of John Peter and Muriel Gale Smith Rink. Richard attended the Clarion High School. He worked on various farms and also worked for Pittsburg Des Moines Steel, building water towers, and Allen Printing until he retired five years ago. Richard also enjoyed coin collecting and fishing. Richard is survived by four brothers, Don Rink and wife, Diane of Clarion, Bob Rink and wife, Val of Phoenix, Arizona, Bill Rink and wife, Sue of Tucson, Arizona and Tom Rink and wife, Sharon of Scranton; and two sons, Robbie and Randy. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Rickey.
