Mrs. Lorane M. Simpson 92, of Plattsburg [Missouri] formerly of Holt, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at the Clinton Care and Rehab Center of Plattsburg. She was born in Eagle Grove, lA on Aug. 17, 1909, where she attended school. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nashua Church of Christ in Nashua. She was married to Leonard Simpson; he preceded her in death in 1972. Also preceding her in death were her parents Lloyd and Lillie (Nighswonger) Phillis. Survivors include a son Allen Simpson of Holt; a daughter Delores E. Swanson of Boseman, MT, a sister Twyla Phillips of Richhill, and a grandchild. Funeral services were held at 10am, Monday May 20, 2002, at the Cox Funeral Home, Plattsburg, with burial in the Sunset Cemetery, Des Moines, lA under the direction of the Cox Funeral Home, Plattsburg.
