Funeral Services for Lucy Amelia Judson, 78, were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Dows. Rev. William O. Niles officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Dows. The Van Hove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Lucy Amelia Judson, age 78, passed away at Franklin General Hospital, January 31, 1968. She was born May 21, 1889 at Dows. She was the daughter of Steven and Lydia Hawkins Maryhew, and was married to Jess Stewart in 1909. He passed away in 1913. In 1916 she married James Judson, who preceded her in death in 1926. Surviving are R. O. Stewart of Hampton, Mrs. Marvin (Avis) Lentz of Dows, Mrs. Mark (Marjorie) Squire of Burbank, Calif., Mrs. Cecil (Donnabelle) Silvey of Dows and James Judson Jr. of Clarion. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, her parents, one son, one brother and three sisters.
