MRS. H.L. OLESON LIFELONG RESIDENT DIES MARCH 29

Lottie E. Oleson, 78, life long resident of the Dows area died at her home Sunday afternoon, March 29, 1964. She was born July 11, 1885 at Dows, the daughter of Steven and Olivia Hawkins Maryhew. She was married to H. L. Oleson on December 23, 1903 at Clarion, Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Henry and two daughters; Mrs. Hebert (Margaret) Barz of Dows, and Mrs. Richard (Deloris) Schmidt of Joice, Iowa., one sister, Lucy Judson of Dows; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert and one brother and three sisters. Mrs. Oleson was a charter member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 2, at 2:00 pm at the Dows Presbyterian Church.
