John Blair - Spokane
No service will be held for John Drummond Blair, 79, at his request. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Blair, who was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, died Sept. 12. He was educated at Moorehead State University and the University of Montana. Mr. Blair served as a captain in the Army Corps of Engineers in the Indochina Campaign and participated in the building of Burma Road. He also had a 35-year career in education publishing as a representative with Scott Foresman and Co. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Grace; a son, Doug Blair of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
