DOROTHY JEAN ALLEN, 79, of Denver died Oct. 30. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Washington Park United Methodist Church with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, on Oct. 2, 1917. She married Edwin Robert Allen, 1948. She worked as a teacher's aide and teacher in Eagle Grove and Cherry Creek schools. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Craft Club, Cinema Club, Patchworkers and Green Thumb Garden Club. Survivors include daughters Patricia Guerrero of Grand Junction, Sandra Jordon of Boulder, Donna Kittell of Wheatland.
