Robert Harold Tegland, 64, of 1929 Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC died Jan. 22, 1995, at home. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Tuesday at Greene's Funeral Service, with the Rev. Kenneth Leatherman officiating. Visitation is 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Tegland, an instructor with Barber Coleman Co., was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, son of the late Thomas and Augusta Hill Tegland.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Jo Zimmerman Tegland; son, Michael Tegland of Matthews, N.C.; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Schmidt of Pleasanton, Calif., Mrs. Marjorie Cox of Urbana, Ill., Miss Ester Tegland from Zion, Ill. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3315 A Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, N.C. 27804.
