Services for Gwendolyn Elaine Ice, 82, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Hemet United Methodist Church. She died Thursday of heart disease at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Inurnment will be private. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Ice, who was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, lived in Hemet for five years. She was a secretary for McDonnell-Douglas Corp. for 25 years. She was a member of the Methodist Women's Sewing Circle in Hemet and the United Auto Workers. She was active in the arts and crafts group at James Simpson Memorial Center in Hemet.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Done of Homeland; son, Robert Steffen of Colonial Heights, Va.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Whitney of Los Angeles.
