Pearl C. Blomen, 90, Venice, Florida died Sept. 17, 2000. She was born Nov. 2, 1909, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and came to Venice in 1970 from Rockford, Ill. She was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of Big Sisters, Venice-Nokomis Women's Club and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include a nephew, Marshall Christiansen of Omaha, Neb.; and a niece, Charla Sengren of Worthington, Ohio. Inurnment will be in Rockford. National Cremation Society, Venice chapter, is in charge.
