Nadine Fillmore, 94, a resident of Northbrook Manor, died there Tuesday, May 2, 2000, following a short illness. There will be no visitation or services. Turner Chapel West is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Herbert Van Pelt of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Nadine was born July 24, 1905, in Dows, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd Fillmore and Evelyn Kane Fillmore. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1927 with a B.A. degree and an M.A. degree in 1934 from Northwestern University. She was a teacher and taught in the Cedar Rapids school system. She retired in 1972. Nadine was a member of St Paul's United Methodist Church.
